ONE-PART EPOXY INK

One-part epoxy ink is used for superior adhesion to non-porous surfaces. It has excellent resistance to abrasion and flux removing solvents. The ink meets CID A-A-56032A Type I & II. (Formerly MIL-I-43553b and appropriate test methods of MIL-STD-202e, 810c and 1285a.)

Colors

Standard: Black and White
Special: Red, Orange, Brown, Yellow, Green, Blue, Violet, Silver

Shelf Life:

Six months
Refrigeration extends life. Do NOT freeze

Mixing:

Stirring in the container is recommended prior to application of ink to the machine. NEVER add ink reducer directly to ink supply jar; never return any ink to the supply jar.

Cure Cycle:

Does NOT dry. Imprints will NOT cure at room temperature. Imprints must be force cured with heat. At room temperature, imprints will remain tacky until force cured.

Force cure cycles refer to the time and temperature of the substrate where the mark is placed:

300° F (149° C):
350° F (177° C):

30 min.
6 min.

Pot Life:

Unlimited

Thinner:

A minimum amount of 1PE-T4 thinner/reducer may be helpful to maintain desired consistency of the ink on the Model 105. Do NOT add thinner/reducer directly to the ink jar. The result of this action will ruin the ink in the jar.

Do NOT use thinner/reducer as a cleaner.

Cleaner:

Care should be used to assure compatibility with marking equipment. The following cleaners are commonly used:

1. 99% isopropyl alcohol
2. Acetone
