Interesting Ink Marking Machine Applications
Loras Industries
offers a complete line of power semiconductors to meet commercial and
industrial power application requirements. They have two JanTech Model
105 machines that are used for direct stamping semiconductors. The unique
thing about the application is the work table fixture for feeding and
indexing parts being marked. They have designed a feeding chute and fastened
it to the machine work table.

This machine is set up to mark TO-220 packages. The parts are fed into
the chute and pushed in line to an index mark (arrow) on the fixture.
The machine is actuated and three parts are marked with each cycle. As
more parts are fed down the chute to the index mark, the imprinted parts
fall off the end and into a bin.
