Interesting Ink Marking Machine Applications

Mercury United logoMercury United Electronics, Inc.

Mercury United Electronics, Inc. is a quartz crystals manufacturer that demonstrates clever integration of JanTech Model 105EW Double Speed machines into their fully automated parts marking operations located in Taiwan and the United States.

marking machine integrated with vibratory parts feeder

The Model 105EWDS is shown being fed parts from a vibrating bowl feeder. Mercury United has added features to the machine work table to position the part for direct marking, trigger the machine when a part is in position, and then release the part to the ink curing conveyor below.

Notice the marking machine is positioned at an angle to horizontal. JanTech machines may be installed and operated in any position.

Mercury United is using a one-part, heat curing epoxy ink. The epoxy ink imprint is cured as the parts pass along the conveyor under the heat gun. The parts then fall into the collection bin at the end of the conveyor.
